Yester And Now!

Yup, yesterday while working, I served Tan Keng Hua! If u dunno who she is, she's the actress who acts as Chu's wife in PCK. Being starstruck alrdy! Wonder who will appear tmr?

Today went wif JW to Courts to buy his oven and mixer. Then had Popeyes at Century Square! Newly opened. But at there, I was irritated by 3 types of ppl:

1) NS men: Lottas of nonsense, no substance. All talk and no walk. And all they do is waste other ppl's time. No wonder they always kena in camp, they asked for it!

2) Indecisive and talkative woman. There's this woman that was qeueing behind me and she keeps asking her bf what to eat and keep changing her choices for like 15min? And she keeps commenting on Popeyes' menu and food and comparing wif other fast food and how it should operate. If she was that good, she won't even be there eating it....

3) Rude and act high class Singaporean. Although S'pore's education ranks amongst top 10 in the world, the ppl here lack manners and place others before them. They always have this attitude that as long as they got that alil more penny, everyone have to serve them properly. Don't believe? Go take the MRT at peak period with 10 senior citizens ard you. See you go up first or them? How about being at the counter at any shop in Paragon, orchard or anywhere where ppl's wallet are abit more loaded? They act as tho the whole earth is owned by them.... And if you notice, any fastfood rest u step in, how many of the ppl would actually smile to the counter person or say a thank you at the end of their services. 1 outta 20?

Conclusion: Education up, humanism down, true? I dunno but at leasst that's what my dad used to say. "Some ppl study uni but the manners like Sh*t! Study until where? Uni never teach manners arh?" I kinda argee wif him now.

I think things have to change, esp from small. Can you imagine like in 20years, everyone works only in the face of money and not from a servicing heart? Frightenning. Another frightenning fact: Kids nowadays splur faster. That day at Iluma, I saw a bunch of kids like Pri5 or Pri6 eating at a rest w/o their parents and they were totally rude to the waitress. Haiz.

Too fumed up with how things are in Singapore now...Hmph!
Post again but now I shall chill...

May God have mercy on this generation...
