Indeed, I agree that I left my blog to die... But blogging isn't really my kinda of thing so keeping it alive was much more of a hassle than anything else. Yup there's so much that I wanna tell the world out there, the good, the bad, and the in the middle but all these seems too much to be place in words.
Just finish watching a SNSD video and had some spare time in hand so thought why not blog since I have some time in hand (actually suppose to be asleep cuz tmr there's work at 8am at Sengkang.......). It's now April and really, time pass quite in a wiffy and I don't know how long more is the combined cells gonna last but I'm really treasuring every moment of it.. The noise, the fun, the irritation and every part of it! As they say, you don't know how long it'll last but enjoy it while it does. It kinda put me in a sad mood while on this subject cuz once we go back to our own cells, will we be still as close? Undoubtly my answer concludes to a no. Maybe it's because of statistics? Like in camps and in prev cells and everything where we used to be so close to one another but now seems like a river apart. Remembered there's a Facebook group that actually reads "We used to be the closest of friends but now we hardly talk" or something like that. But like the video I watched says "If we give it our best every moment we have now, later, even if it's not like now, we won't regret it" - SooYoung (as expected ^^)
Today Thiam You made a funny remark while on our way back home. On the bus Shervelle was doing her usual stuff and Thiam You told me "Wa, I really angry! She really make me angry. Tell her and she don't listen. Wa!" Hahahaha! So far the only person I remembered making Thiam You angry was me! Now there's an addition. But as I think back on all the times I've spent with Thiam You since Sec3, I think we really grew, closer and spiritually. You know we may not be the best of friends but it always seem that there's this mutual understanding between us. He laughs at my joke, I laugh at his and we talk about stupid things together. I'm really glad that Sunday after Sunday, I can turn to my left and have him there to joke around and chat with during the sermon! Thank You!
So many more things is coming up and I thing it's time to grind the belt and prepare for a heaven of a time! (Hell of a time sounds stupid to me......) There's Zone Camp!!! Yay, of course Sarah's birthday is together and she's so excited about it. Then there's church camp!!! Ignite after that! The momentum is really building and I'm really getting excited! (There's SNSD concert in July too but it's in Thailand and would really need a miracle to go cuz I'm not gonna go if I'm not going alone. Still praying for that bank acc miracle! Jun Wei, pray with me!!! Hahahahahha!)
Yup that's all for now and tune in the next time, altho I don't know when but in the meantime, stay strong, stay cheerful and stay passionate!!!
The love of God, is greater far, than tongue or pen, could ever tell....

For Granted...
Today was on the bus towards 201 for camp group gathering where a event in the bus spark off my chains of thoughts and eventually to blog it down. I got up the bus and I stood there observing the crowd in the bus as usual. Then a Indian family and an old lady got up the bus. As usual, 2 people gave up their seats. But this gesture of kindness is what that totally push me off my dimension. Firstly, the lady that gave up her seat for the old lady, she didn't gave up it happily or willingly but rather, she just stood up and pointed at her seat and her face was showing something like,"I know I have to give this seat up for you but I'm just not that willing". And the chinese old lady was equally bad, she stared at the lady rudely and then just sat down as tho she deserved it.... For the indian family, a lady gave up her sit so that the Indian lady could sit down with the toddler in her arms. But just when the lady offer her seat, the Indian lady without hesitation just sat down as tho someone else was gonna snatch it from her. And when she sat down, she just pretend as tho she got the sit herself and didn't even bothering thanking the lady who gave up her seat.
I don't understand why nowadays in society and a first world country like Singapore, the more our economy and "class" progress, the more degrading is our manners. Like if we step into a posh or high class restaurant, we expect the waiter to greet us with politeness and all but all we do is stick our head high and don't even respond... You may say I'm generalising Singaporean but that is indeed what the general is doing. Go anywhere in the public, there's always a lack of generosity, respect, kindness, manners. Even in our education system, it focuses so much on subjects, modules, topics and grades but fail to fork out time to inculcate manners, character and behavior in Singaporeans. Even CME periods nowadays is deem unless and for students to take a break to do their stuff.
Maybe it's what the world is building it's foundation upon. In the past, in even kingdom, dynasty or era, all their foundation was built on loyalty, respect, love, graciousness , wisdom and discipline. That's why no matter how many times these kingdoms or era fall, the next is still built on the same foundation cause that's what keeps the people at peace. The only reason for war was being not contended in being in one's one position in society or greed. But now, even as there is no longer kingdoms or war but the world is degrading as a whole. The reason for the absence of war is simply the interior war itself in the country is enough to handle then to go start a war with another country. With such competitiveness within each individual in a society, everyone is fighting against another to achieve the title of the "Cream of the Crop". And the foundation the world is built on now? Simply, money, entertainment and self fulfillment. The difference from the past? From selflessness to self-centeredness. Everyone wants their fair share from the pie now, even to the crumbs.
But even within all these stuff, I choose to believe that we, even as Christians, can make the change. Not because we can but because there's grace. There's enough love for us to encompass people for their faults, enough grace to accept people for who they are and enough of God to change people. If everyone do their part, there's no need for revival cause the world would already be saved.
I'm looking forward to cell!

In This New Year!
Yes yes yes, I've not blog like since forever! And I'm like suppose to sleep like now cuz I really wanna wake up early tmr... But so much have happened and if I could pen it all down in just one word it'll be "Worthy". 14/jan marks the start of my 5th year as a Christian! Last year alot happened but this year, I'm expecting for greater things to happen! Last year's resolution was to be involve in more ppl's life and this year, it's to impact lives! No matter how much I look at it, Christianity is all about lives changing. I can go on and write a long thesis on what and how Christianity changes lives but I'll just leave that till the day I get my PhD(not!).
Let's see what I can remember!

-Women take forever to do everything except for: spending money, flaring up, being unreasonable, being late, forgetting stuff, and so on and so forth....(Liz, Wei Yi, Wendy, don't kill me if you even see this but it's true. Be set free!!![I'm so dead....])
-Had dinner with Hamy's cell before she flew...
-Trudy, rotating toilet bowl(laughs), Constance, boil the sea(laughs), Louis, we are RACISTS!

As For Today...
Today we had, Zone Service!!! Haha! Ice Breaker was really fun and funny! Esp when Wayne's the in charge, there's totally no room for boredom!!! Sad to say that it'll be the last zone service for the year but Wendy's message was great! Celebrated her birthday and went to eat at Macs. I have to apologise for calling Sarah Aunty Sarah once but she called me uncle and whack me upteem time so I think we can call it quits then! Chatted and played with Hui Ling and Hui Ling over dinner with Joel Oh Kian Tong showing off his Best In Maths Cert!!! Hahaha! Again and again and again and again...(does dance moves) Then went to lepak with sam and wayne. Talked with jeremy for awhile too. After that, it was off to Ruben's BBQ!!!
Met Purdee on bus 15! Hahah! Was super random and we kept asking her random questions. Then we isolate Wayne and he fell asleep -.-" after Purdee alighted me and sam talked for awhile more.
At Rube's BBQ:
We thought it'll be very crowded and that there'll be alot of MLs but it was the opp. Ok, learned a new term fro€m Benia. It's called "Orh Tor". What is it? Hahaha! Go figure out! Met a few old frens, ppl like ruben and eugene and benia, got to know a few new other guys. Had quite a fun time talking and chatting and talking crap and the fun part is always about bullying the birthday boy! I think the punch I landed on his chest must really hurt! Hahahah! Sorry WeiYi that we have to ask you to go home when you'll all the way at the place already but, we have your interest in heart<3
Tmr:
Gemmy's!
Wagyu Beef!
Dress Up!
Resignation Letter Sent!
Me: Joel slimmed down a lot from last time.
Benia: Then God must really exists!!!

Not Nice Being Mr Nice
Who would have thought that my 1 year of dreaming and 2months or training would come to naught today when all I do was being nice.
1) I was not supposed to be team captain just that no one else wanted to...
2) I didn't choose the players...
1st Wayne wants shouts at me telling me what to do, then another person who knows nothing about basketball tells the team what to do, then Wayne gets his way. I mean I'm fine with all these if we're playing with good players but we have to know our means. What's with all the, if my plan fail I don't play lor, it's just a game no need to win and all those remarks? I was talking to Jeremy Wong on thursday night and he told me something that really hit me that is Sportsmanship is playing the best you can no matter who your opponent is to show them the due respect. But if all you guys are concerned is about having fun and make sure everyone plays every game, then why come? And the fact is everyone got to play for at least 1 and a half game, all except me... I really wonder if I told nicholas tan that I take over as captain and register our team is a mistake? Some people wasn't supposed to be in the team but they came and asked me to put them in but when I put them in against the others opinions, all I got was rebellion and ignorance? And I still have to go over to the other team's captain to tell them not to play so seriously against us. All this for? So much for being nice. Is it me that I lack the charisma to lead a team or it's just plainly people don't wanna listen? I don't know but at least be grateful that I let you guys in...
I know I shouldn't be here ranting and crying over spilled milk but if you're taking people's dreams and vision lightly and forsaking all the effort people try to make you feel good then there's no point me being nice. All I wanted was us to win at least one, and it's not too much to ask for but in the end? We can't even score a single point in that game we're supposed to win... I guess it was kinda rude for me to leave the court for a breather but if I sat in there longer, I would have exploded and gave you a punch in the face. I knew that wasn't Christ-like so I walked out to cool off... At least Chow was outside chatting with me... Thanks man Chow! And after everything, no one said nothing... Well at least I got a "That was a good game" from Wen and that made me really happy altho my face and the other part of me is still trying to cool off.
After that went to Changkat to play with the guys. Haha! Elisha called me "zone 6 best player..." He's like trying to be lame... But at least the guys said I improved and that today my shooting was more accurate. It seems that all those training paid off... Soon, soon every sunday I can go down changkat and play again!
Yup, don't worry, I'm still nice :) Just that I'm totally disturbed and frustrated with the whole incident but ya, it's all over... Let's just make tomorrow a better day than today!

I'm Blessed Beyond Words...
Just listened to the song "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion. Indeed, it's a all time rock-your-roof-off classic! It's very very nice! And during the song, I thought alot. Alot about today, alot about this year and alot about people. Let's recap!
Today, ate at Edwin's father shop after service again. Yum yum =p! I still like to do it,"Edwinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"!
Pardon me... Yea, eating with the cell and enjoying everyone's company. If it was the start of the year, I wouldn't imagine myself sitting there having lunch/dinner with everyone else. But I guess, things change, don't they? It's strange to see how God work through things and fufil my new year resolution for me. What was it? Simply, I wanted to be more involved in the lives of many others. Because at the start of the year I realised that if I live a life that doesn't impact the lives of others, there's no pont in staying in cell or serving in ministry. That's why I decided to be more involved in the lives of others in the year to come.
And then first, God pulled the cell close together. Tho ppl come and go, but I believed that 6.1 has really learned to go through things together as a cell. Altho on the surface we seem so diff from each other but on the inside, bit by bit unknowningly, we've started to enjoy each others' company. Then came the 3 cells combination. To me, in the start, I was still adapting to the whole issue but slowly, I guess all of us got comfortable with each other. Through many different events and many weeks of cell and bonding, we've gotten pretty clse to each other. And even now, I can call it a family, a place where ppl come, they can laugh with us, join us for fun and wanna stay because everyone is so real. I'll never imagine myself saying this at the start of the year but now, cell's getting "warmmer".
And even sitting down now, I really question myself what's next? What more can I do for the cell? I suppose you can't call it duty but instead, it's like a sense of ownership, a sense of belonging that makes you wanna make things better. I don't know how long the combined cells will last but let's treasue it while we can. There's this saying, "People close to you are like air, you'll only know the importance when you lose it". And I think the day will come when each cell have to go their seperate ways and I hope, when we look back, we'll have wonderful memories to hold on to...
I want to end this entry here but I don't know how to put the perfect full stop. Because even deep inside, there's this warm and fuzzy feeling as I think about the peeps. 6.1, 6.5, 6.7, you guys rox!
For all those times you stood by me,
For all the truth that you make me see,
For all the joy you brought to my life,
For all the wrong that you made right.
For every dream you made come true,
For all the love I found in you.
I'll be forever thankful, baby.
You're the one who held me up,
Never let me fall.
You're the one who saw me through it all.

Never Had A Dream Come True, Till The Day That I've Found You!
Alot have been happening recently esp in work, and when I say alot, it really means alot! Stress level is up to my neck and I've not been catching up on my hours of sleep. My only dreamtimes are times on the bus where I can barely catch a wink.
Tonight, every1's turning in early, so it's not just me but every1 is exhausted. Even granny is nt turning in late... Rare. Just gulp down like 600ml of Milo, hope it'll provide me with a lil energy boost for tmr!
Today hanged out with JW! Last wk I help him with his dream of baking, this wk his turn to wait for my dream with me. It was really anxious but exciting. The last 30mins esp! Woohoo! But, it was realized. A dream, a love, today it's mine! Hahahahaha! The wait and preparation took me a year! And after waiting so long, it only increased my happiness!!! Really really glad.
The numbers does not only make it sound nicer, but it also shows my desire to play more for, You.
