Yea, you didn't see wrongly! Yup, I'm uploading an recipe. Usually, unless you beg me or cry infront of me or else, you won't know my recipes. But this recipe I'm sharing today is not really a very complicated dish. It's just something nice to fill your stomach in the night if you're too lazy to go out for supper. I've decided to name it "Old Almond Paste". Yup, if you're a fan of traditional food, you'll probably enjoy this dish.
Ingredients:
-1 packet of instant Almond Paste (I would recommend Hollyfarms')
-3 pieces of Soda Biscuits or Cream Crackers (They do not have cream in it!)
-Egg white from an egg
- 3/2 tsp of Ground Almond Powder (Optional)
-1 tsp of white seasame seeds (Optional)
Steps:
Firstly, boil about 350ml of water.
As you wait for the water to boil, pinch the 3 pieces of biscuit into a bowl, not too fine but not too chunky too.
When the water boils, stir in the egg white and remove from heat.
Then, empty the packet of instant almond paste into a bowl.
Pour in the boiling water with the egg white and mix. If it's too sticky for a paste, you can add in a little more water. If it's too watery then too bad.
When the instant almond paste dissolve totally, mix in the ground almond powder (if don't have also nevermind).
After that, pour in the pinched biscuit crumbs into the paste and stir.
Lastly, garnish with the white seasame seeds.
Enjoy.
This recipe is rather simple and if you can't cook, you can prepare this dish too. I wouldn't call it a dessert cause it's rather filling and it's not really sweet like a dessert but rather it's a very flavourful dish to have for supper.
Tips: If you want it for breakfast, here's a little change that you might wanna consider.
-Use plain cereals instead of biscuits
-Use almond flakes instead of almond powder
-Use dried blueberries instead of white seasame seeds
That's all for now! Stay tune for more recipes to come!
